The Ecology Foundation, in association with Siemens Ireland, is presenting a series of lectures to Ireland's leading Universities and Institutes of Education on climate change and its implications for the future of society. The lectures series is designed to educate and encourage undergraduate and graduate students to assess how they can play a role in meeting the challenge of tackling climate change. The lectures not only focus on the challenge of climate change, but also the positive role science, engineering, innovation and business can make by addressing it. The lecture series is free and consists of a menu of four separate lectures prepared by The Ecology Foundation's climate change specialists. The lectures are outlined as follow:
With climate change becoming the world's number one issue both for business and government, tomorrow's graduates will need to be aware of the opportunities and risks inherent in this new paradigm. The Ecology Foundation believes that the lectures will be of distinct value to all students and particularly to those studying engineering and business disciplines.
